Albert A. Wins the Inaugural InsurTech Scholarship

Insurance Technologies Corporation (ITC), a provider of agency marketing, rating and management software and services, announced today Albert A. as the inaugural recipient of the InsurTech Scholarship.
Albert, a full-time student at Rutgers University in New Jersey, won the $1,000 scholarship prize for his dedication to pursuing a career in the insurance industry and his outstanding academic achievements.
“Congratulations to Albert, the winner of the InsurTech Scholarship!” said Laird Rixford, president of ITC. “We’re excited that the inaugural winner is someone who clearly has a passion for the future of our industry. We look forward to seeing the impact Albert’s academic and leadership skills will have on the insurance industry in the future.”
Applicants were required to submit a 1,500-word essay about the impact of technology on the insurance industry over the next five years.
Albert is studying economics, applied math and computer science at Rutgers University. He is a member of the Risk Management Association, Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals, and International Association of Insurance Professionals. Albert expects to graduate with his bachelor’s degree in May 2018.
